I firmly believe that Geeks rule the world!

Bill Gates (Microsoft), Steve Jobs (Apple), Larry Page · Sergey Brin (Google), Michael Dell (Dell Computers), Bill Hewlett · David Packard (HP computers), and Larry Ellison (Oracle) are just a few of the richest geeks in the world.

Out of all the major industries in the world such as Energy, Food, Manufacturing, or etc. Software is the second largest industry that has made the most billionaires, just behind the Energy industry.

But how many people can go out and dig up oil or natural gas in their backyard? Not many, and that’s only if you have a back yard.

Now think about how many people can learn programming? Anyone with a computer can.

That’s why I truly believe that if you or I need to make it in this world then everyone needs to learn a programming language.

I’m putting myself through a self-taught path to master programming and I plan on using this site to document my journey.

I know it’s not as exciting as tracking my results with some investment or exercise thing, but like I said earlier I believe Geeks Rule the World!
